Letter to Faustinum Members and Volunteers

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ!
Members and Volunteers of the “Faustinum” Association!

In this holy season of Advent, I wish to extend a cordial greeting to you. Advent is a special time in which, alongside with Mary, we learn the attitude of vigilance and awareness, in order to recognize and not pass by indifferently the advent of our God. We, who want to be apostles of God’s mercy, are called to this in a special way. Vigilance is an attitude of an apostle. It enables us to recognize every occasion when God invites us to trust Him or to show mercy to our neighbors. I invite you to join our Advent journey of yearning, a simple Advent program of preparation that we have on our website www.faustinum.pl

We are about to start a new calendar year. We believe that it will be abundant in God’s grace and mercy. The year 2021 is a special year for our Association of the Apostles of Divine Mercy “Faustinum”. On March 6, we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of our Association. Certainly it will be a time for remembering, reflection, but above all of gratitude for all that God has done for our Association and for each of us individually. On this occasion, I cordially invite you to write a short testimony beginning with the words: “I am in the Faustinum Association because…” We will place your testimonies on our Faustinum.pl website. It will be one of the elements of our common celebration and a sign of spiritual connection. Please send them to us to the English Secretariat at english@faustinum.pl by January 31. In this way we can enrich each other.

As a part of our anniversary celebration, we plan, among others the 5th International Congress of the Apostles of Divine Mercy “Faustinum”, which will be held on October 2-5, 2021 at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki. The Congress, which will have a prayerful and formational character, will have the theme: Celebrating Mercy. We encourage you to save these dates today so that we can spend it together. We plan for the Congress to be held on-site here at the Shrine, but it will also be broadcast online for people who will not be able to come to Łagiewniki. Basically, it will be conducted in two languages: Polish and English. However, if necessary and possible, we will also include other languages. Due to the ongoing pandemic, it is not possible to provide detailed information about the Congress today, so we will send it later.

The time of the pandemic makes our meetings limited or impossible, so I encourage you to remember each other in prayer and to live this difficult time in the spirit of trust. I also ask you to visit our www.Faustinum.pl website regularly and make use of new formation materials that we post online nearly every month for all our members and volunteers. Through the website we make many announcements, so please visit regularly to keep up-to-date. I cordially greet and assure you of our daily prayers in your intention.
