Today, the Majesty of God is surrounding me (…). I am thoroughly enwrapped in God. My soul is being inflamed by His love. I only know that I love and am loved. That is enough for me. I am trying my best to be faithful throughout the day to the Holy Spirit and to fulfill His demands. I am trying my best for interior silence in order to be able to hear His voice… (Diary, 1828).
The voice of Him Who is Love rules in a silent heart. This voice announces the joyful news that I am loved. Sister Faustina, experiencing the antechamber of heaven already here on earth, wrote that it is enough for her to know that she loves and is loved. In spite of this, however, she does not cease to fight to be faithful to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit, striving for silence in her heart. Vigilance, so as not to lose the opportunity to do good is a mark of a loving heart.
O Holy Spirit, reign in my heart!
